Pegfinity Steam Launch Notes
Released August 14, 2026 as a single-player pachinko incremental from Fragment Ventures AS.
Pegfinity left Next Fest and launched on Steam on August 14, 2026. The store page sold it as a colourful physics incremental: launch balls, hit pegs, stack Hypemeter, unlock chaotic upgrades. Introductory pricing sat around a few dollars with a minus-30 percent offer advertised through August 28. Early Steam reviews opened at Positive on a small sample. This page is the launch snapshot this wiki uses everywhere else, so we do not contradict ourselves on date, mode, or language.
Play the full game on Steam. The itch.io demo remains a 35-upgrade taste. Studio site and socials sit on official links.
What 1.0 promises versus the demo
Demo: freely mix up to 35 upgrades, cactus, bouncy pegs, thermometer, UFOs, bonus baskets, Hypemeter, the core loop. Full Steam build: more than 150 upgrades, the same loop stretched, 26 achievements, more gadgets and run-stealers (mirrors, clowns, atomic bomb) on the store copy.
The philosophy stays skip-friendly. Lasse from Fragment Ventures told demo players they could grind and save for expensive nodes instead of being forced down a single lane. That is why our upgrade order planner tells you to skip bins.
Platforms and spec
Steam Windows is the paid home. itch.io hosts the demo. Steam Deck players already reported comfort during the demo period. Store minimums: Windows 10 64-bit, dual-core 2.0 GHz, 4 GB RAM, DirectX 12 or Vulkan, 500 MB. Recommended: Windows 11, quad-core 3.0 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 2 GB VRAM. More hardware notes: platforms and systems.
Pegfinity is single-player only. Steam’s language matrix showed English interface only at launch. Brazilian localisation was requested on the forums; it was not a shipped column yet.
What to do this week if you just bought it
- How to Play.
- Controls so the meter does not own you.
- Upgrade order.
- Known issues before Graveyard.
- Review only if you are still deciding whether to keep it past two hours.
Bundles and neighbours
Steam showed bundles with other small incrementals at launch. They are optional. Pegfinity does not require Pegs X Stickers or Idle Gumball Machine to make sense. Do not buy a bundle thinking it unlocks pegs inside this tree. It does not.
How this wiki will treat post-launch patches
New Steam news posts belong in this category. Day-one already shipped numbered notes: 1.2.1 Graveyard and early balance, 1.2.2 chest controller, 1.2.3 max-charge auto-launch, a text hotfix, and an accessibility patch. Those live on Steam patch notes. Demo 1.4 juice changes are historical and live on the demo changelog. If lasers gain a timeout, synergies will say so. Leftover reports stay on known issues.
If you need a human from the studio, use the contacts on community. This site is unofficial.
The launch snapshot this wiki locks to is simple: released August 14, 2026; Steam Windows; English client; 150+ upgrades; 26 achievements; single-player only; intro discount in the first two weeks. If a later news post changes one of those facts, this page will change. Until then, do not mark any Pegfinity guide on this wiki as unreleased. The game is out. The remaining work is skip order, not a wishlist. Start at How to Play if you just paid.
